As my childhood keeps tapping around my head, I'm sure there's some over exaggeration here, but it seems like we were always in the curtain store. One of the driest places you could go, the curtain store. The sample curtains weren't even on a window display, just a wall. A tan wall display with miniature curtain samples.

An image will be added later tonight.

This little thing has been causing the biggest stir, lately. It's starting to get that worn look now. One would think that I had a gold ingot swinging off of my bag, the way people look at it in amazement and ask questions. I guess nobody goes to Walgreens. Ever. Silly people.

For some reason or another I've been sitting here thinking about a variety of things I hated when I was younger. The main thing that stands out is a damn keyboard playing gorilla at ShowBiz Pizza. That's what it used to be called until the mouse got too much clout and they all became Chuck E. Cheese's. The massive amounts of money that were spent to get a pocket full of tokens, only to play games that rarely gave out 10 tickets per game play. (Unless they got stuck in the ticket dispensing slot, then you only got 2 or 3 and a half.) Nobody ever got the big shit behind the counter, on the shelves. Those were just for tempting purposes, to make you spend more money and think you had a chance. I think I still have prizes from there, around the house somewhere. Possibly an old token too. What a rip-off.

I have this idea of making myself the Unofficial Apple Information Technology Specialist. (IT for those of you that only know things by abbreviation.) My plan is to cut my rate to half of what other IT people charge or a little lower, so that I will have the upper hand. I never hear about Apple IT girls/guys. I could be on to something here. . .

Slush on the ground. Scarves. Hats. Big ass coats. Then I see some asshole wearing sandals with a big ass coat. That kind of defeats the purpose, plus it's a damn shame.

I'm amazed at the amount of people who still walk over to the computer display without the tower and attempt to login. Maybe they think they know something that nobody else does. An invisible tower perhaps.

There was a point in time when a "swear can" was created. In fact, a couple of times. Donations were never made to it because all of us would be broke.

Motorized scooters and wheelchairs aren't supposed to go that fast. Running people off the sidewalk. Flattening ankles down the aisle. I especially find it funny when the scooters go in reverse. They beep like delivery trucks and as of late, the people who operate them only wish to try the maximum speed while others are around.

It's always disturbing if I see a brown stain on the butt of somebody's pants, even if it was a construction worker. The last time I checked, cement didn't have a brownish tint.

Students are lazy. They take a bus for the shortest distances and everybody eats on campus. This means less movement. Less movement means a wider ass. The next tuition increase will have to be for new chairs, to accommodate the newly acquired skin expansion.

The variety of homeless people that occupy a specific area, near a set of doors in the train station, appears to increase as time passes. Strangely enough, the guy I saw today didn't look homeless, but that whole area smelled obscene. Whatever it was, must've crawled into his clothes and died many days ago. They always stand next to a heat source. That's right. Warm it up. Make it waft around.

Double-dipping can be deadly among others, so I suggest always carrying around a small condiment bowl/container and getting your sample before the outbreak begins.

Every time the slightest bit of cleaning or straightening occurs in the kitchen, more knives are found. In fact, I found a whole set yesterday that has one missing because I just noticed that we use it all of the time. Let's just say that if I wanted to take up knife throwing, I'd be well stocked.

I saw somebody cleaning their hand like a primate of some sort. They licked the thumb on their right hand, then used the same thumb to "clean" something off of their left hand. This was repeated about 4-5 times. Licking the same thumb and "cleaning". First of all, using saliva on anything is not cleaning. Second, I don't want to know.

Stop with the damn dust mop. Any aisle that was fairly occupied, needed to be dusted right that minute. Forget the other empty ones. It was almost comical how everybody kept fleeing the scene, until it got rather annoying and seemed to be done on purpose. That's almost equally as bad as the miniature forklift that roams around a somewhat crowded store. It only makes perfect sense to them because they don't know any better.

Now that the holidays are over, it's time to mention presents only a dork would give to you.

Hint: If you wouldn't buy it for yourself, it's a bad idea. Also, if you question your gift buying, stick with a gift card or money.

Chia anything: The lamest of all things lame. Major cop out.

Rice cooker: If you're really that bad, you have bigger problems. (Basically any appliance with a single purpose like this is stupid.)

Butter slicer: Why bother?

Ice tube tray: Just put the bottle in the freezer. Simple.

Microwave omelette maker: Eggs from a microwave can't be a good thing.

Anything that was advertised by "Chef" Tony: Run like hell.

Tonight's weather reminds me of the year that I forgot to let the storm window down in my room. I lifted the mini blinds and my window was covered in a slightly thick layer of ice and I couldn't open it. After the use of such household items like a hairdryer and a screwdriver, I was able to open the window and switch from the screen to the storm window. Never again.
