I'm heading off to a Bulls game in a few minutes. What the hell am I doing at a basketball game? I'm wondering the same thing. I'll probably be looking out of place as ever (I've never been to a basketball game before.) and pretending like I'm not an amateur game attendee. *cough*
Update: Lucky me. I got the seat in front of the kid who kept hitting me on the head with his little homemade sign.
I found myself looking at the screen more than the actual basketball court. I thought it was enjoyable that the place smelled like a movie theater. Popcorn, hot dogs, and nachos.
I really find no point for the Luvabulls to be there. They look out of place. I guess it just gives somebody a job. . . They're stupid though. I think they spend more time running from the stadium to change outfits, than they do "dancing". It's supposed to be dancing, but it's more like convulsions in spandex. The last thing I want to see is a guy sitting across from me with a "pup tent" when he's supposed to be watching the game. I didn't though, it would've scarred me for life.
I still try to figure out why basketball players get paid so much. I won't even talk about how much they get paid for doing what they do. I'll just say that I'm glad I didn't get hit on the forehead by 1 of the T-shirts that was being shot from the air cannon, into the stands.

I'm actually glad that this week is over. It was just bad. Things just didn't seem to run smoothly. I believe the planets were out of line or something. I hope they line up by next week though. *repeats to self multiple times*
Attention please. Attention please.
If you frequently read / visit Davezilla or any of his other sites, as you can see, they're temporarily inaccessible. Tamityville has also been affected by this incident. Behave yourself. *cough* Things should be back to working order in a week.

Another fire truck and an ambulance at the same building today. Hopefully they're just doing practice runs, should something happen. If this is the case, I wonder why none of the other buildings are doing the same thing. . .
Oh. I almost forgot. A crow kept following us, on our way to work and school today. Every street we drove on, I'd look outside and see the crow just landing on a branch or something, as if it were recently flying. A new pet, perhaps?

I was just about to say, "I should be somewhere else watching a movie." Then it hit me, there are no more movies to see at the theater. I saw all of them last week and I had a poor selection to choose from. The movies were okay, but nothing that I would talk about years from now. I really hope the summer choices of movies are better or we're all doomed.

I heard the graphic design lab "tech guy" tell my teacher that the lab was 80 degrees yesterday. I'm glad I didn't have a class in there on Monday. All of those computers are always on and a fan is currently blowing to help circulate more heat. Fans are no good for a room without windows, especially a hot room. They just help circulate the heat, not cool things down. No thanks.
It doesn't help that some of the buildings still have the heat on. Hell, we still have the heat on at home. . .

What the hell. . .
Something smelled a little singed as I left 1 of the buildings I have classes in, at school today. When I got outside, I noticed a fire truck and an undercover police car parked in the street. They were going to the building next door, but they're connected, so that was enough for me. I don't know what the hell happened there, but I wasn't going to stay around long enough to find out. As I crossed the street, another fire truck stopped there too. Then I walked a little further and an ambulance drove past me. At that point, I was guessing that somebody "tore something up".

Spring break is officially over for me. I'm sure going to miss seeing a movie everyday of the week. I spent my time wisely and "ran a muck" like I was supposed to.
Note to self: School is tomorrow. You will not be meandering around downtown like last week. Get it out of your head.

"I'd like a chicken sandwich please. Do you have ketchup?"
Yes, that's what someone behind me ordered at Potbelly Sandwich Works.
To make matters worse, it wasn't just a chicken sandwich. It was a chicken salad sandwich.
I thought I ate strange food combinations, but this just "took the cake".
I remember putting ketchup on a bologna sandwich once when I was little, but. . .bologna sort of tastes like a hot dog and the chicken salad is. . .well. . .a salad.

There's a time and place for everything. . .
I swear, every school, anywhere took a field trip to all of the museums I went to this week. You know, you try to give people a chance and NOT think so poorly of them, but they always let you down. Here's another case.
We're at The Museum of Science and Industry. They have these really thin display cases with human cross sections. Yes, the side view of a sliced human, so you can see all of the organs and, etc. Anyway. Today, some of us really enjoyed saying the word "pubes" also known as pubic hair. I know about the whole hair and finger nails growing thing that happens after death. These guys looked old enough to NOT be so fascinated with the word. . .in public anyway.
"Look, you can see pubes." *chuckles*

My visit to The Field Museum was interesting, shall I say. . .
Whenever I go there, I have to see the Inside Ancient Egypt exhibit. I just love when people come into museums and don't know what the hell they're talking about. It's always the little "I wish I were the museum guide" person. Anyway. My favorite today was a group of girls. They didn't look much younger than me and 2 of them had no clue. No clue about anything.
First girl, "Why would someone want to rob a tomb?"
Answer girl, "Because they had gold and stuff that was buried with them to take to the afterlife."
Second girl, "Look! There's a roach in there."
Now, we all know about the roaches they had during the Egyptian times. *cough* This dork was too clueless to realize that it's a sealed display case about Egyptian things. The insect inside is a scarab. I don't remember ever hearing about the infamous roaches of Cairo and neither should she.

I'm not a person that really likes shopping for clothes, but I kept grabbing all of these pants to try on today. 8 pairs. I tried on all of them and none of them seemed to look right. Every pair was just wrong. Can you believe I left there with just a little bottle of perfume? I need to figure out how to make my own clothes because I know the kinds I'd like to see, but nobody makes them.

It all started with a warm-up they called "winding-up". . .
Tonight brought me back to Drawing 1 class and my first introduction to nude models. (This time the models weren't holding poses, but their "members" were being posed.) I saw a show called Puppetry of the Penis: The Ancient Art of Genital Origami (NOT work safe. As if I had to tell you that). After they took their capes off and you got over the initial shock, the show was quite good. It wasn't explicit at that point, but was more like performance art. Hilarity definitely ensued. It was a comedy and they told jokes while "performing". They (there were 2 puppeteers) only wore socks and shoes with 1 guy wearing a hat, on the head above his shoulders of course.
There was a guy sitting next to me. He came in with some lady. You could see he was really uncomfortable. I don't know why. Everything was tasteful and funny. If he was confident with his masculinity, there shouldn't have been a problem. At least he wasn't the poor girl who was pulled out of the audience for the audience participation part of the show. I'd mentioned that there'd probably be an audience participation part. "Are there any ladies celebrating something special this week?" They said this week, but it wasn't today in my opinion, so I was in the clear. She only held the guys legs while he did a handstand. Then they, so nicely, took a Polaroid picture for her to keep, as a little momento. That's some momento. I could go on and on talkng about this, but I won't. I'll just end it by saying that they left the stage a couple of times and were amongst the audience and I was considering buying a t-shirt, but I'm not sure where I'd wear it.

It was great to come in at 12:05pm or so for a 1:00pm class today and find out that class was cancelled. I actually didn't want to do this little "group critique" (she broke the class down into groups of 6). Not yet anyway. I have a class that starts at 10:00am, so it's not like I came to school just for that.
Anyway. The point is, I could've seen a movie because my next class didn't start until 4:00pm. So, I went into the new G4 computer lab and started tweaking my project for another class. . .while surfing the internet and checking e-mail WHICH they don't want us to do on those Macs. (What a rebel.) They only want us to use PCs for checking our e-mail. I suppose that's all they're good for. . .

We're doing something in class where we're dividing this book into it's rightful chapters, so that different groups can then take a separate chapter and divide each section of the chapter. Then each section is presented by each person in the group. The chapter we went over today was quite interesting. Then we got to this artist named Annie Sprinkle. She's been causing quite a debate in class because nobody can really say if she makes art or if because her art is so explicit, it's really pornography. Well, we saw slides of her work and we get to this 1 particular slide. It was of her boyfriend I think. His genitals specifically. He's a hermaphrodite. Now, we've heard of hermaphrodites, but everything suddenly became different when I saw that slide. I've been learning a lot in this Studio Seminar class.

I've learned. . .when technology wants to be a bitch and behave incorrectly, it's just better to walk away. Walk away before you do something rash.
I've had to follow my own advice a few times. As I had to do today.
Others don't follow this rule though. That's why there are countless computers with blank browser windows or frozen screens on campus. They don't know the way yet. Just walk away before you do something rash. Walk away.

Snow AND rain in 1 day. . .
I thought, "Look at that. The snow is melting really fast, now that it's raining." "Look at all of the water running down the street." Then I looked in my backyard. The sidewalk began to look a little shiny. It wasn't just the rain making the cement glisten. Instead, it was almost solid. The snow melting wasn't so much of a good idea. Now I can skate all the way to my garbage can.

Exactly a week from today, we have to read a small segment from our screenplay for a class. We also need enough copies of it to give to our classmates. Here's the thing, I don't want them to have copies. No, it's not because I think my story is so original and that when we finally get out of school, they'll make a movie from it. It's because I just don't want someone else to read my writing. Yet I post and publish to this site everyday. . .

Hmm. It has been shown to help maintain urinary tract health. . .
Which makes a valid excuse to eat it more often, right?
Yeah. . . That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
BTW. The urinary tract is perfectly fine. It says to help maintain urinary tract health.
