Everybody needs to have a teacher that pretty much ends the class by comparing the mouth in someone's project to a crotch.
I didn't have a mouth in my project.

There's nothing wrong with feeding birds. Hell, I used to do it. I still might feed them every once in a while. Here and there. The problem starts when someone else, specifically a neighbor, throws shit behind your garage to feed them. Throw them behind your own garage before I sprinkle some lye on the flowers that have been invading our fence for years now. Maybe that's a little harsh. . . I'll see.

Wise words to the person walking down the hall with a cup of coffee:
"Hey! I'm way over here in a computer lab and I can smell your coffee. It smells like ham. I think that means it's too strong. That's just a guess. You probably have no eyebrows now."

As the bus drove past us, the driver had the nerve to slow down and look back. I suppose that's better than the last one. They floored the damn bus as if nobody was standing there. Let's just say there wasn't a bus stop. No slowing down. No looking back. Pedal to the medal.

Hmm. I can only think of cocoa in the little coffee machine we have at school now. Anything I do tomorrow will have to be timed well enough for me to make a stop at the coffee/cocoa machine before class. I try to have it at least once a week. Twice at the most. Addicted? Never.

Leave it to me. The minute I use the clothesline, the damn thing snaps. I didn't notice it being cracked or anything. I was a little leary to put everything on the other clothesline because I figured it would snap also. No, I had to bring everything inside to dry on hangers. It's supposed to rain at midnight. The last part of my jeans to get dry is the crotch. Great.

Hmm. It's been a little more than a year since I bought a CD. What do I do when I get money from a generous parent? Buy 10 CDs that total $150.00 and some change at Best Buy.
Update: 2 more CDs were bought Sunday. The total is now closer to $180.00. Give or take.

Concert tonight: The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Queens of the Stone Age.
Update: I originally wanted to go to this concert, for Queens of the Stone Age, for the most part. I sort of missed the majority of their performance because we somehow ended up in Indiana. *cough* Seeing as Red Hot Chili Peppers were the main act. . .I should've known and expected them to put on a good show. I was really surprised with the amount of songs I sang along and moved to.
Once again, alcohol brings out the best in people. I'm referring to the guy that twirled and sort of dipped down the isle. You'd think someone old enough to be your father could hold it together a little better than that. Age means nothing when you've gone past your limit.

The big ass sign in the lab read: NO EATING OR DRINKING.
I see a bright yellow Wendy's cup and I smell those greasy french fries. Not only did he do one, but both. . . The rustling of the bag just makes it that much better. Go ahead. Don't try to be discreet. They'll never learn. Ever. Not even a little credit is given, by me anyway. Students. You can always depend on us to bend the rules. Always.

Not having card access to a couple of places on campus is a pain in the ass. It will also be a major inconvenience if this doesn't change, now. I've never had any problems in the past. That's right, blame it on my scuffed up ID. Sure. . .It's the magnetic strip. No, it's not. It doesn't have a problem letting me in the buildings, just a couple of computer labs that are used for 2 of my classes seem to have a problem reading my card. I've also taken it to the ID office to see if it can be read and it can. There's also someone else in one of my classes that can't seem to get their ID to work either. I filled out all of my card access forms the first week of school and look what happens. The forth week of the semester and they still don't have it right. Conspiracy.

I think I'm having a little too much fun leaving one of my classes a little early to eat something before my next class. I won't call it ditching. I work while I'm there. Sort of. Here's the thing. The project I'm doing isn't mobile, so I can only do it while I'm at home, at the moment. After all of the pictures are taken, then I can work on it at school. It's a process thing, so I have to wait. As long as my friend and I aren't too busy and have enough money that day, we'll still go. We'll even split an order of fries if we have to, as we did so today.

Obviously there's some crime against buying one red potato. The cashier seemed to think so.
"Just one potato?", she said with the slightest grin.
"Yes", I said.
I don't have to go into detail about how it's for an art project. I shouldn't, for her anyway. I might be making a small amount of mashed potatoes, for all she knows.

I should go to galleries on my own, but I only seem to go when the teacher makes a suggestion that the class needs to see certain shows, as I did today. It's not that I don't like going because I quite enjoyed myself. I like galleries and can always find at least one artist that I'm drawn to. So I proceeded, using a new bus and realizing that there are a good amount of galleries so close to my school, I went to about 6 of them. After going to a gallery, you're amazed at the price on some of those paintings. $20,000!? It really has to be who you know. I'd love to have my work shown in a gallery. It's really bad, but there was a brief moment when I wanted to ask who could have their work show at this one gallery I visited. . . I suppose you have to try sometime. Maybe some other time, when I can actually ask.

I'm officially off of my rocker. The tempurature has been in the mid 80s all week and I want to drink a cup of cocoa.
Maybe it's okay if I'm drinking it at home while I'm in an air conditioned environment. I'm not one of those people who insist on eating soup while they're already sweating. I will, however, eat ice cream all year. Even during the winter. I just can't bring myself to do the soup thing, yet.

A semester project for one of my classes is supposed to be done as a group. 2 people are supposed to team up and think of something, together. Heh. So much for that. The person I was teamed up with dropped the class and registered for another section. After I was informed by my teacher that I no longer had to work in a group, I got a brain fart (Yes, there are people who still say this, even if it's only me.) I completely changed my idea. This always happens. The first thing I think of for a project never stays. It seems to only happen for my graphic design classes though. Mainly the classes taught by a specific teacher. This is my fourth time having him as a teacher, if that tells you anything. His way of teaching makes me do a lot of brainstorming without being bothered by it. Damn he's good.

I have to remember to bring a DVD to school with me 1 day, before this semester is over. I actually have enough time to watch a movie in any of the computer labs, during the time between my classes. I think the majority of them have CD/DVD drives.
They have no idea what this could mean for me or anybody else if they have as much break time as I do. This will only go into effect when I'm not using that break time to work on stuff outside of class, of course. . .

There are a couple of screws in my CD player that I had to tighten, under the metal disk that the CD rests on. It has been dropped a couple of times, over the years. I'm sure the amount of time that it was played and the many revolutions that the metal disk made played a big part in its illness because the radio still works fine. After years of carrying around a shitload of CDs to school everyday, I'm researching mp3 players. Besides an iPod looking cool and being made by Apple, I can't really justify having one. I have to do better than that if $300.00-$400.00 is going to be shelled out for it. If only I had a better reason. I'm currently enjoying the use of my sister's mp3 player. I've only dropped it once. (She already knows. I told her the day it happened. Maybe it was the day after.) I've already taken all of my CDs out of my bag and it doesn't feel any lighter.

A shot of vodka, straight. A sip of orange juice follows. Throughout the rest of the night I tasted an Apple Martini, an Amaretto Sour, and a Long Island Iced Tea. All sips. Liquor has to be an acquired taste because I always expect things to be a little sweeter than they are. I did miss out on buying a small shot glass of some flavor of that Pucker brand.
Guys in clubs are seriously like vultures, just sitting back, waiting for the attack. They all just stand around and watch who comes in next. Then they all make their rounds around the dance floor to see who's dancing and how they're dancing. Then they gradually make their way on to the dance floor, to dry hump somebody. That's basically what it is. I must not have danced hard enough because I wasn't invaded. No problems here. Phew. They have no shame at all. I'm sure some of them would come into the club without wearing pants if they could. Another common observation is the whispering. If they're whispering to someone they don't know, it's not right. I also saw someone there dancing on a crutch and somebody else on 2 crutches. A transvestite might've been present also. My watch read 4:30am when we left the club. It's a good thing that I changed my mind and accepted the invitation to stay in the suite that she reserved. There were 5 of us. I felt like I was 12 years old again. That's about the last time I went to a slumber party.
Next time I'll be more prepared after studying my drink book, then I'll be able to ask for something that hopefully won't leave my esophagus as a pile of ashes.

Club 720. That's where I'll be tonight. I just don't go to a place like this out of the blue. It's to celebrate my friend's birthday. I went to the site and actually researched it so that I'd know what I was getting myself into. It's funny, I've never noticed this place before. It's in the same area where I've shopped for art supplies and had lunch once. They're practically around the corner from each other. It should be interesting. I believe it has 4 floors of entertainment. . .

Teachers have such a way with words. This is the second time that a teacher has described my way of painting as being "poetic". I'm not exactly sure what they mean about that, but I figure it can't be a bad thing. This time it was followed by the word "elegant".
It would be absolutely hilarious if I made a living with my painting instead of graphic design, since it's my main major. Just another reason to encourage both of my majors and my minor. If not anything else, at least I'll be well rounded. My professional resumé will look pretty nifty though.

Sevendust was quite enjoyable tonight. The concert was all acoustic, but that's how one can tell who the real musicians are and they proved it. Once again, I left there smelling like a smokestack. The more I go to concerts, the more I can tolerate the smoke. Well, I won't say tolerate, but I pay just like everybody else and it would suck to just concentrate on my lungs being contaminated all night. I can only imagine how good their regular hard rocking shows are. At one point a bit of moshing was mustered towards the stage. Acoustic moshing. I was actually waiting for it. It's sick to like watching people shove each other around like zombies who've had too much caffeine. *raises hand* I always stand near the back, away from the stage. Some things are just better to observe from a distance. I wonder when they'll come back because I'd like to see them again. *sigh* I just love music. I can't say it enough.

As we pulled into the garage, I noticed that somebody on my block now has a go-kart. A few minutes later I heard the sputter of a go-kart motor zip by my house. A go-kart is the last thing these people need. I can already see one of them driving it among regular traffic.

Labor Day is one of those odd "holidays", if it can be called a holiday. People usually associate it as being the last day of summer for grilling. I can never remember what day it falls on. It also sounds pretty weird to throw happy in front of it.
Happy Labor Day. It's so dry. Maybe it should be changed to Happy Typically Known as the Last Holiday of Summer to Grill Day. At least it's more interesting, even if it's a mouthful.
