Today I started playing this game. I need to stop while I'm ahead, before I get "sucked in".
Update: It's too late. It'll be all downhill from now on.

The little girl and the grape. . .
I went to the grocery store today. (Yes. It's a weekend type of thing.) I saw a little girl stomping on a grape, not just stomping though, she smashed that little grape with all of her might. Then she politely smeared it all over the floor with her shoe. Now, everybody knows that a grape can literally break someone's neck if encountered in the grocery store. I'm glad I left before somebody "wiped out" after they passed that corner.

I've had some weird bus rides before, but today's was really different.
I saw a guy on the bus dressed like Jesus. He had long dark hair that was parted down the middle and he had facial hair that resembled a goatee. He was holding a 2 foot tall wooden cross with a rosary hanging from it. His attire consisted of a loose white shirt and white pants with gym shoes.

As this semester goes on, I am realizing that there are a lot more people attending my school now. It might be an exaggeration, but it seems as if the enrollment has doubled this time. I can remember walking around school in the past at a specific time during the day and it was almost empty. Very few people were outside, bumbling around like lost sheep. But now. . .it's a mad house. I am lucky if I can breathe my own air for a good 5 minutes. No matter where I go, there they are.
Wait! There happens to be one escape though. The library. College students don't just go to the library just to go. It involves learning something. So they go elsewhere. I've always liked going to the library. I have, since I started going to college. It's where I always go when I've got free time/time in between classes. It's quiet and not crowded.
I know for sure that I am not alone in thinking this way because not too long after school started back, someone that I know asked me if I noticed the influx of people at our school now.
Take your ass to class and stop blocking the sidewalk! Get out of the way!

Today when I went to Color Theory (one of my classes), we showed the instructor our brown and gray hues project that was assigned during the previous class. Then we worked on another project that involved making a scale that goes from black to white, without using black. I had to make a really dark color that looked black, by using primary colors. This type of class makes one feel very "artsy fartsy". *cheers*

I have the strangest feeling that one of the buildings at my school is sinking OR a bit off kilter. When I walk up the stairs, I automatically begin to tilt backwards.
This is NOT normal.

I can proudly say that I will try almost anything edible. I'm flexible. But these "took the cake" this morning. Sometime last year I saw the Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans in a store. I never bought any because the price was too high for something I wasn't so sure I would be pleased with. I just had to buy them a couple of weeks ago. Didn't I? WHAT DID I DO THAT FOR!!!! This candy is a mess! The sardine flavored jelly beans, alone, will make you "toss your cookies". Let's not talk about the booger flavored jelly beans.
I'm too thrilled that I didn't have the earwax or vomit flavored jelly beans in my bag. Horrid.

Why don't stores stock the things that people actually buy? I'm so befuddled by this. I can clearly see what's empty on a shelf. Why can't they? I just don't get it.
The reason for this, is. . .I seem to have a hard time finding Diet A&W Sparkling Cream Soda. This particular pop always seems to have an empty shelf in the store. How much proof does a store need?

Sorry about the delayed updating. Tuesday's incident had rippling effects.
Today was spent:
†††††-going to the Social Security Administration office for a replacement card
†††††-attempting to replace my state ID, but discovering that it's harder to get, than the Social Security
card. (I'm still baffled by this one.) The Social Security card seems more important to me, inquiring
minds would like to know why it can be replaced with such ease. *huffs*
†††††-looking at a new cell phone to replace my Nokia 5120. (That's right. It was stolen too. As stated in
Tuesday's post. Bitches!) This is my first choice.
What a rough week.

Today's mission in class was. . .assemble all of your stretcher bars and stretch canvas for finishing staples. (This can only be done if one can make it through the demonstration.)
Our teacher went through every step for everything and when he got to the stapling, the staple gun began to jam. Problem solved. Let's do a test shot towards the floor! I swear I saw a staple ricochet by my head.
I knew I should have kept those safety goggles in my box.

All in one day?!?!
I consider myself far from careless. I can actually see myself keeping inventory of the items I carry around daily. (That should stress to you my non-careless thinking.)
I find it "funny" how things can change for a person so drastically in such a short period of time.
At first I thought that maybe I just misplaced my cell phone and left it in another bag I was carrying the prior week. Then as I did a little more investigating for the cell phone I noticed that my wallet was missing too. At this point, the alarms went off. There was no way I could have moved my wallet because I never take it out, so it should have been there. Then the story gets "better". I call different places to report items as stolen. . .THEY HAVE BEEN USED!!!! This fucker was busy too. Gas stations and more gas stations. That's what I was told last night anyway. That was another dead giveaway too. For one thing, I don't drive or even have a driver's license and secondly, I don't use my credit card that often and I wouldn't use it at a gas station.
I hope their genitals shrivel up and fall off. (That can happen to men AND women.)
And to make matters worse.
My headphones are kaputt. My FAVORITE headphones in the world! One of the earpieces is swinging now. Damn it!
My ears felt SO naked when I left school today. (The only time I don't wear them at school is during class.)
Poor, poor Swoops*. They went so tragically.
*mine were a shade of blue instead of the red that is shown at Aiwa.
All of the Crazy Glue in the world might not help them. I saw wires. Nuts!

While I waited for the bus after class was over, I saw a rather interesting guy. Let's call him "Mr. Music Conductor".
As he walked, his arms flailed and his fingers wiggled about, in a musical way. He seemed to hear music that no one else could hear.
Update: I saw him Thursday, after class, again. He was wearing a little red jacket and has added random claps to his routine.

WARNING! BAD MOVIE LINKAGE AHEAD. APPROACH WITH CAUTION. YOU HAVE BEEN FOREWARNED. . .
I stayed at home today and continued to work on an oil painting.
I was painting for so long, that I missed Critters 4.
Aww nuts!
(Nothing like a bad movie sequel or a sequel to anything. Period. Let alone, 3 of them.)
Why don't I remember there being a Critters 4?

I barely remember Critters 2.

I have to buy some of the dumbest things for school. Color-aid paper would be one of them. In fact, it seems to top my list. They are pieces of paper in about 314 colors that are being used to cut up. Each piece of paper is 4.5" x 6" and I paid $50 for them.

Ohh sweet, sweet Jamba Juice. I had one today. I make it a point to have at least 1 a week, but I'm sure I would be content with 2, maybe 3 a week.
About a year ago or so, I used to go there a little more often than I do now. I would get the same flavor every time. Then one of the little smart ass workers started remembering what I ordered and didn't need to ask for my name because she remembered that too.
So, I started to fool her ass. I wouldn't go as often because THAT pissed me off. When I did go, I would order something different.
Now, if only they didn't have private shareholding. . .

What the hell is that supposed to be and why?
It's always enjoyable for people to come up with these "off the wall" ideas for a project at school. You can really tell it's a bullshit idea when they can't explain IT to anybody. I just sit back and laugh because I know that they've worked "extra hard" to make IT work. Some people try TOO hard and you can clearly see IT falling apart.
I mean, this crap is way beyond abstract.

When Sinuses Attack. . .
It all started on Saturday. . .
One sneeze was the sign of more to follow.
Then there was earlier today. . .in class. I very well could have ended up halfway across the room, but I pretty much got things under control.
Until I went to the library. The "sneeze gates" opened and I parted the library with "a blast of my nostrils". I thought I was going to turn a flip. My brains could have easily ended up on the monitor that rested on the desk in front of me.
It is a good thing that my "20 sneezes at a time" had a day off. Phew.
