I am thoroughly convinced that Bart Simpson would be Tim Curry, if he were a real person.

Just a question. . .

Where do thoughts go when you need them to gather up and pull through for you?

My sister and I tend to have odd conversations over the phone while she's at work, but this one seems to "top the cake".

My sister: I went to the bead store today and I saw a guy with boobs.

Me: *dead silence* Were they real?

My sister: They looked real to me. He was wearing a thin T-shirt (must not have been 100% cotton) and when he turned around. . .I saw nipples. Not to mention he had long purple fingernails and purple toenails to match.

Me: *dead silence*

My sister: Hello?

Me: *dead silence*

My sister: Weird. I still get "the shivers". *makes shivering noise*

Me: *dead silence*

My sister: Okay. Talk to you later.

Me: Bye.

"The Donald" has interesting hair to say the least. How can someone with so much money have hair that looks like the following:

Hairstyle #1: Which way does it go?

Hairstyle #2: Notice the little curl on the side.

Hairstyle #3: The picture says it all.

Do you have a favorite?

Get the hell out of dodge if you're driving around and the person in the lane next to you is wearing a helmet, but you're not in a demolition derby.

Especially if they're eager to rev their engine, then they look over and give you the Cheshire Cat smile.

I've been thinking about how in the past, Fridays always seem to get more exposure as that "exciting" day of the week. Now I wonder, why is that so?

What are Fridays for anymore?

†††††- to make you think you have to
do something good because it's Friday

†††††- a reminder that Monday is on it's way

†††††- to prove how short a weekend is

†††††- an excuse to reward yourself
with a meal you wouldn't normally eat
on previous days of the week

†††††- movie night

†††††- a day of endless partying

†††††- a drunk's holiday

Wednesdays are my favorite day of the week for some reason. Go figure.

My phone rang one time, just a few minutes ago.

The caller ID read: Donald Banana.

That's all I'm saying. The name is enough for me. I'm not even going to touch this topic.

A walking fish that can live out of water for up to 3 days. . .

Run for your life!

The worst part is, this is not a science fiction movie. It's real.

Just find a sharp corner and ram your head into it if you see one of them.

This is just wrong. Very wrong.

A Dirty Dancing Sequel?

That's right folks! Dirty Dancing 2.

Since the topic became so hot yesterday, I decided to do a sequel of my own about this movie having another installment. Of course, I don't think Patrick Swayze will be reprising his role in the movie. That could be a good thing though. It would kill the lasting vision of him "strutting his stuff" while the movie was good. Plus, it was complete the first time.

This is yet another example of Hollywood getting out of control with sequels that don't need to be made.

I hope it doesn't go through. We all know it will suck.

"And I owe it all to you. . ."

Dirty Dancing just went off. I swear it's the world's most televised movie. It seems to be on every other week. I don't know why every time I happen to catch this movie on television I feel like I have to watch it.

Could it be the fact that you get to see Patrick Swayze "cut a rug"? Maybe.
Is it good? I have not determined that yet.

It is just one of those movies that you feel a little lame for watching, but you have to watch it anyway. I know there are others who watch this movie every time it comes on, but would never admit it.

What's even more lame to admit is. . .
I really need to buy the soundtrack.

Singing the songs top the list of being lame. Ha ha.

It's finally raining. It's been a long time since I've seen some of this stuff.

Hopefully it will rain enough to get some of the heat out of the air. But if it's just enough to make it more humid outside, it's back to dealing with the "sticky skin" feeling again.

Rain on!

We did a little grilling today. It was hot outside so we waited until the sun went down to really get started.

Now I smell like a grilled hot dog.

It seems a little odd for the weather to be so warm at this time of night.
I'm not complaining, I'm just saying. . .oh never mind.

It's not such a good idea to eat things that you keep in the freezer for more than 6 months. All of the seasoning in the world will not "fix" the freezer burned taste that has been emblazoned on the once tasty morsel. When it has that trademark "freezer" smell, it's all over. Just toss it!

Let's just say I had a bad experience today.

You have been warned.

Just something funny that was on my mind. . .

Why do some people decide to water their lawn once it's all dried up and brown?
What's the point? It's dead now. Right?

It's not like a rehydrated pepper or anything.

People are funny. Really funny.

I find that I try to put jalapeÒo peppers, crushed red pepper, or ground red pepper in everything I eat.

Plus, just about anything that resembles some sort of dessert or fruit drink/tea has to be more sour than sweet. I like to go heavy on lemon juice also.

Can anything ever get too sour? If so, I haven't found it yet.

Someday I'll probably turn into a tart hot pepper. Until then, I'll just eat myself into a hot and sour tizzy.

This is sort of an example of what I had for breakfast earlier today. Well. . .it was more like brunch, since they took so long to make.

It's called boxty. What is boxty you say?

Boxty n. basically a potato pancake that is stuffed with fillings of your choice.

The recipe I used called for corned beef, cabbage, and cheese as the fillings. It was tasty.

I'm not Irish by any means, but I have a real liking for Irish things. . .

Sick and wrong

When I'm in the grocery store I often notice that the cold cuts section has some rather interesting items that are deemed edible.

Why would anyone want to eat something that looks like this?

Read the ingredients. *shudders* Did I mention that it looks gross?

No explanation could ever convince me otherwise.

Today was one of those "nothing days". That's right. A nothing day. Nothing to do. Nothing to watch on television. Nothing. Period.

Update: Tonight I watched a new interesting show called The Pulse. It was pretty good. Very informative. Plus. It has Bill O'Reilly on it. Enough said.

So I guess something came out of my "nothing day".

That is all.

I just stumbled over this. . .

Don't tell me I'm the only one who remembers You Can't Do That On Television. I absolutely loved this show. I remember watching it on Nickelodeon when it first began to air in the United States. Oh, the joy of seeing others get slimed, drinched with water, or hit with pies.

Just don't say "I don't know" or "water".

Those were the "good old days" of quality television watching.

I can just go on and on. How about Salute Your Shorts? Camp Anawanna. . .

Beetlejuice came on tonight and I just finished watching it. I have to watch this movie every time it comes on. I LOVE this movie. Love. Where the hell is the cartoon? I really liked that too.

"Make my millennium."

My reason for ever missing it on TV: I don't know it's coming on.
Other than that, I'm always there.

It's by Tim Burton. I just love this director's work.

Movies are my passion. Can you tell?

For as long as I can remember I have always REALLY liked the Smurfs. I can't even explain why.

They are these little blue creatures that have white caps and pants. That stupid little "La la la la la la la la la la la" tune of theirs seems to stick in my mind. It doesn't help much that my Mom told me she saw them on the Cartoon Network at 4:00am one day.

Here it goes again.
