On my way to school today, I saw someone brushing their teeth while they drove.
I don't want to think about what they did after they finished. Swallow? Spit out of the window? Spit in a cup? *dry heaves*
I see people do other things while they drive: i.e. drink coffee, smoke, talk on a cell phone, eat, and even read.
Brushing teeth is by far. . .the oddest.

It's baaaack!
That's right! 24. Tonight's episode had no commercial interruptions. An hour straight through. I can't wait to see what Jack Bauer is up to next week.

Dork!
As I left class today, I looked outside and thought, "It looks awful dark for this time of day. It's usually lighter outside. . ."
Doh!
Daylight Saving Time slipped my mind that quickly.

Don't worry. It was given to me. Legally.

Before I left the house today, I set a tape (people DO still use these) to record Saint Sinner. I haven't watched it yet, but I hope it's good. *crosses fingers*
BTW. I don't watch The SCI-FI Channel nearly enough. Not as much as I should be. Shame on me! Shame, shame!

Some "little bastards" keep coming on my porch, bothering the coffin my sister and I made a few years ago. It's nothing fancy, just foam board. Since it's been raining, the moisture has started making the board warp. Now we will be forced to make a new one. Realistic shall I say. . . That's right. Wood! At least something durable, if it's not wood.

I shouldn't be surprised about how open some people are when it comes to doing a project or just talking about something during class, in general. I have found myself thinking:
†††††"This is way more than I need to know about fellow classmates."
"I don't want to see them in this kind of light."
I know art is a way to express something, but people please have some shame. This is just a class.

Do people forget where their waists are, as they age? Lately, I've noticed quite a few pants being "pulled up to the neck".
No! Your waist is not at the top of your ribcage.
Note: If it feels like something is cutting you, that might be a good sign that your pants are pulled up too high.

I just watched the last episode of Kindred: The Embraced on DVD. (Sad, sad.) It was actually very good. Strangely enough, I don't remember it being on television. Why did it go off the air? What a shame. It had such a potential to thrive.
Leave it to me to get hooked on a show that no longer exists. Now I'll have to watch the DVDs over and over as if I've never seen them before. (I know. Sick. Eh.)

Decorations. Schmecorations.
(It's a stretch, but I tried.)
The Halloween decorations have been put up, for all to see. There is only one thing left to do. . .draw on the windows. That will be the final touch to encompass all things Halloween. Just about.
Now, to see the first person "pee their pants". . .

Oooh. We have budget problems. Art gets the short end of the stick!
A new discovery about my school's "so-called" budget cut:
There are 2 main buildings at my school that are for art classes. Here's the deal. Basically this "budget cut" is mostly affecting the studio arts classes. I have noticed that in one building, they still have paper towels in the restrooms. This building accommodates, for the most part, architecture, graphic design, industrial design, and photography students. Now, here is the major difference. The second building accommodates painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, and film/video. Those kinds of classes are taught on 3 floors of the building. Only 1 of 3 floors has paper towels. Care to guess? Film/video. Here's my thing, yeah, studio arts classes use more paper towels, but if the other art classes don't use as many, then hand over part of their share.
Here's to more salt that everyone likes to add to artist's wounds. Especially studio artists. I feel the affect because I am one of the rebel graphic design students that "straddles the fence".
I don't even want to talk about the $500,000 budget increase that the athletics department requested.

Call me sick, but I get a kick out of live television that goes awry, especially the news. My favorite flub has to be when the camera is on the wrong news person. Next, when the screen goes blank all of a sudden and you can still hear people talking. Finally, when the news person reports a story and the wrong picture appears in the screen. Classic. That happened tonight. There was utter silence on the television for about 5-7 seconds when that happened. I could not contain my laughter. That's right. I was out of control.
"I must try to gain some composure." *repeats to self*
Maybe.

Did you say complicated? Come right this way. . .
I always seem to pick the most complicated thing(s) to do for a project. I guess it's a challenge for me. It forces me to work harder to get a result that I am pleased with. It hasn't failed me yet.
"Come on little challenge. I have something for you."

Revolving doors are death traps. I swear. When I was leaving the library today. (Yes. The library thing again.) I saw someone get caught in the door.
*gasp*
People push those things way too fast. I once had the heel of my shoe caught in one. It didn't tear it or anything, but it's just the whole point of how it happened.
People, if you want to pretend a revolving door is a roulette wheel, go ahead. Just make sure you're in there by yourself and if you aren't, don't be surprised if someone pulls the door in the opposite direction so that you can smack your head on the glass.
Thank you.

Everyday, I go to my school's library (That's right, I said everyday.), I see the same people in there. They're not workers. I'm assuming they're students too. Now, either they're there too much or I'm there too much. (It's not me, it's them.)
NERDS!!!!
Okay. Fine. It's me! Happy now?

Do these quotes sound familiar, when you're trying to justify eating or drinking something?
"This is a little burned."
"This is a little broken."
"It's smaller than the others."
"This one isn't shaped right."
"Oops. I touched it."
"I have to make it an even number."
I use the last one, quite often. (I should be ashamed. Should.)

What's with the cashiers that ask for your ZIP Code? Please tell me I'm not the only one that has encountered this. I know they're just being nosy. It's not like they're actually going to build a store for the people with the most ZIP Codes.

Run for your life! Literally.
Today. A normal trip to the restroom. . .goes horribly wrong. The person in the stall next to me decided to use an occupied restroom for other things. I left my stall, so fast. In one breath, I flushed the toilet, washed my hands, and walked out. (As to not make a scene.) I had to leave because the smell permeated the restroom quite rapidly and I didn't want the next person to come in there and think it was me that "let loose".
