I've been trying to hold back, but there seems to be a horrible "trend" going on in Hollywood these days. Lara Flynn Boyle seems to be the newest member of the Flying Lip Club.
I believe the first inductee was Melanie Griffith.
Tonight I also noticed that Maria Conchita Alonso has jumped on the bandwagon.

"You know, if you don't stand closer, you'll be passed up."
Excuse me for having a little common sense and not standing right at the edge of the curb. You know cars don't jump them.
If I'd been standing any closer to the edge of the curb Mr. Bus Driver, I would've been run over by one of your comrades. Besides, you're supposed to stop at every stop anyway.

Hmm. With all of the cooking that I do *cough*, I'll need one of these knives. I've been eye balling this for a really long time. It's just a little pocket change, right? Blame it on Ming Tsai. I saw him use it first.

A man who appeared to be a bum had the nerve to talk on a cell phone this morning while I rode the bus. To make matters worse, he had this raggedy ass bag of sorts. Then he pulls out a flat glass bottle and pours some liquid into a plastic cup. Pouring yourself a drink, on the bus. . . *shakes head*

A few minutes ago I was Elijah Wood in my dream and GĂrard Depardieu wouldn't let me leave his house.
I tried to escape through his sliding shower door that lead outside. . .
Damn dreams.

I knew there was a reason why we usually go shopping later in the day. . .
There are more people out when it's earlier, which in turn means more chances for your heel to be run over with a shopping cart OR more people who want to get in an aisle that was completely empty until you got in it because they think you are getting a better deal than they are, plus they might be missing out on something that they choose not to buy when you finally move. Phew.

We watched Waking Life in class today. As others mentioned, seeing it twice would benefit the viewer. Lucky me. This was my first time seeing it. Other than that, it was pretty interesting.

A certain class was very interesting, to say the least. All of the blank stares on people's faces explained everything.
I'm glad that somebody had the guts to finally ask a question so that we wouldn't all be confused as hell. (No, it wasn't me that asked the question. I try to keep a low profile.)

I was very studious today and I occupied all 3+ hours of my free time by working on something school related, instead of just "evaluating" the web in my favorite computer lab. . .

Cold weather has the strangest effect on things. (Be good. That's not what I'm talking about.) As soon as you step outside, your nose starts to develop an abundance of mucus that was nonexistent before. Then, you have to pee really bad when you clearly didn't have to go at first. Luckily those muscles still have enough resistance, so they don't totally let down their guard.

It's one thing to see someone leave the restroom without washing their hands. . .
Then, when you see them eating something and sharing their snacks with a friend, it's just tragic. Those poor souls have no idea that they are consuming the germs from their "friend's" nether regions. That's rough. Now you don't have to wonder why these people are always sick.

Yeah, yeah. Here's another dream. . .
I was at a place that appeared to be a gas station, but all I could see outside was darkness. I bought a slushie and it was in 2 cups. The first cup was broken so it was all placed into another cup. They also had the chips behind the bullet proof safety room they always occupy. I'm not sure I want to know what this all means.

Hi! I'm not here right now. . .
That's what the little man said as I got on the bus today. I'm sure he had the pleasure of "greeting" previous passengers before I got on there. He continued to "greet" 2 other people who got on the bus at the next stop. He said , "Hi. . ." and one girl said, "Hi." as I did, only to be mistaken because he actually seemed to mimic an answering machine. Then he said, "Hi." to the other lady. She looked as though the little man had flashed her and had the expression of a deer in headlights. It was truly a site.

Dear Tourists Who Decide To Visit Chicago,
I'm assuming that you'll find your way to "the Loop" or "Downtown" as others may call it. . .and will more than likely wish to go to Sears Tower and Michigan Avenue, but don't be fooled. If you're looking for directions/help, don't ask one of those raggedy looking guys who look for tourists to help out. Try asking your average native first. We don't hold our hand out after we provide you with our wealth of knowledge.

Peanut, peanut butter and jelly!
As I sat in class today, the smell of peanut butter and jelly permeated the room. You know it's a sandwich. Students and their little smashed bread. They always eat like ravenous savages. Funny.

Group projects
I've never seen anything good come from one. You know there is always one person that does most of the work. That "mutual contributing" thing pretty much goes out of the window. I've never seen it happen anyway. I personally work better alone. Yeah, yeah. I know all of this changes when you get into the "real" world. You have to collaborate. There is just something about trying to collaborate with another student. It just doesn't turn out right.

There's something really wrong with the parking lot we use "Downtown" everyday. When we walk by the doors near the stairs there's always a horrible smell. They should check it out. It could be something dead wedged into a corner or something. Just a suggestion.

As I wash clothes today, I think about a semi-harsh reality. Each time that little filter rack fills up with lint, on the front of a dryer, that's the disintegration of one's clothes. Every time you wash clothes, small pieces are lost. Before you know it, there will only be a button left as a reminder of the clothes that once were.
I just thought about this. There was actually a person on television a while back who was so cheap that they used the lint from their dryer to stuff pillows.

Today, a girl in my class bought a chicken sandwich from a KFC, located on campus. I don't think the lettuce was supposed to look like hash browns. Those damn heat lamps just kill everything.
Oh. She paid $3.50 for it and ended up throwing it away. It really looked like it should've been deemed "uneatable" before they sold it to her. How nice of those people who work at the KFC, located on campus.

Are you sure this is a computer lab? It feels more like a sauna to me.
It was so hot in the graphic design computer lab today. I could literally feel a halo of heat around my head. I think I need to replenish some fluids with a cup of water or something.
I knew it had to be bad when I saw our tech guy trying to adjust the thermostat. At least the table tops didn't start to get a layer of dampness on the surface. I hate when humidity does that to things. Let's face it. I hate humidity. Period.

If I want to stay up longer than I normally do (as if I need any help being an insomniac), coffee doesn't help whenever I decide to drink it. I might be one of the few people in this world that doesn't get perked up by coffee. I've even made it strong and it doesn't work. I refuse to make it so strong that it starts to smell like a rotting sphincter (I know this is a bad association, but hey, I tell it like I smell it). Besides, I drink it for flavor, not that "habitual thing".

I feel the hair raise on the back of my neck when I see someone wearing thick white athletic socks with everything. Maybe they're not always athletic socks, but white socks always look thick to me. It's really not acceptable when they accompany black shoes and black pants. It's a double "hell no" if the black shoes and the pants are dressy.

No wonder people aren't aware of their surroundings. They are too busy reading books or magazines while they walk. I saw somebody cross a street while doing this. I personally thought they had a death wish. I'd never try to cross a street in Chicago without being focused.

I'm starting to believe that I live in a bakery. There always seems to be a "sweet treat" in the house. My dad has been "getting on a kick" for buying pies and occasionally I like to buy cookies. Cakes are okay, but I like cupcakes better. They're small and I'm a sick ass. So there. I said it.

I'm truly shocked by the number of people that don't watch the news. It's hard for me to believe that there are people in this world who walk around without any idea of what's going on. How can you live in a world so large and not be concerned about the things that happen with you in it? You "not knowing" isn't going to stop it from happening.
