The most unstable pile in a store seems to be the most interesting thing to the person in the isle with you. (An adult, touching everything, at that.) This is when you get the sudden urge to move elsewhere, so when something gets torn up, you're not the one to blame. Sure enough, you always hear the "clang" of metal or knocking of glass pieces. At that point, you're nowhere to be found.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I finally watched The Ring. I had the DVD for a while, but I just decided to watch it tonight. I should've rented it first. I'm not sure if I would want to watch it again. It's not one of those movies that you watch over and over to find something new. Damn Swiss cheese plot.

Dreaming of installing different pieces of software, but they all end up being the same after I've installed them. I've been playing techno-weenie, way too long.

There's something invigorating about smashing a bug, especially when it has more legs than a spider and gives off a well deserved crunching noise. The cleanup. That's a different story. The juice. The. . .juice.

Why would I plant corn seeds? Well. . .I got them from the museum's farming exhibit and I wanted to see if they would grow. The problem is. . .they're growing a little too fast. I have no idea where I'm going to put it, as the growing progresses. "Out of control" are the words to describe this situation. All I can think of now is, "He who walks behind the rows".

I like oatmeal, but I think it's too warm to eat it for breakfast right now. It has to be made just right or it'll have the consistency of snot. I know it's a horrible association, but I had a bad incident where I stopped eating Cap 'n Crunch cereal because it felt like little heads in my mouth when I chewed it. This of course has been resolved and I have no problem buying a box of Cap 'n Crunch, as soon as I get the other 8 boxes of cereal out of the way first.

Suddenly, for some reason, I want to go on a road trip. I can't fully explain why, I guess it just sounds good at the moment. Maybe it's because I can freely take pictures of stuff while I'm aimlessly moving around in a vehicle, and I don't know where the hell I'm going. Sounds like a plan. I can't drive though. I don't have a license or a car. Oh well. That was good for a second. Next.

Having to reinstall your system software 2 times in 1 day makes you never want to own a computer again. How do 20 restarts sound? Yeah, that's what I thought.

I told my friend that I NEED to smash something. I think I'll just go out back and do that.

Update: That's better now. No it's not. Who am I kidding? Damn it.

When you start watching more television again, you suddenly remember why you cut back. Unless your seasonal shows are on, your choice of wholesome television watching dies a slow and violent death right before your very eyes.

I quite enjoy watching the late night television evangelists, work their magic. A slap on the forehead and hot breath from a stranger, on your face, cures everything.

The most annoying tune always, always gets stuck in your head.

To make matters worse, you then begin to hum it. . .out loud.

You're in bad shape if it lingers there for more than a day.

If you hit a week, it's "curtains" pronounced coyt-ins.

After that. . .it'll forever be etched into your psyche and you'll "breakdown" and buy the CD or try your damnedest to find it as an online download.

Heh.

When people call my house and have the wrong number, there's always a 99.99% chance that they'll call again. I guess they think I'm lying the first time. Maybe they think if they try more than once, I'll change my answer the next time.

The culprit called twice today. They were almost tied with the person that called 3 times on Saturday at 7:00am.

Yeah, yeah. I gave in to it. I saw The Matrix Reloaded today. The only thing I'll say is, I know some parts that I would've cut completely and a few things I would've changed. Other than that, I'd say it has a major chance at being a blockbuster.

Plus, theaters have to stop it with all of the real commercials that are shown before the movie. (At least it wasn't Celine Dion this time.) It feels so stupid just watching them play on the screen. I'd take all movie trailers over that any day.

My name is Kami. "Hi Kami." I was disconnected from the internet for a number of hours today. . .

Nobody appreciates the internet until it's inaccessible for 8.5 hours.

Thanks to the schmee-hole who dug a little too deep into the ground. Thanks a lot Einstein. Pay no attention to those little orange lines they put down for you as a warning, for the pipes and lines below. They're just scribbles.

I had to resort to some "conventional" means of entertainment:

Video games (I get really involved with these, but it's kind of different when that's basically all you have left.)

Computer games (Things must've gotten really bad because I loaded Carmageddon. This is for hard times. I finished this game years ago.)

and last, but not least. . .television.

I happen to enjoy television a bit more than your average person, but when it comes to being online. . .I think you know the answer.

Mailman from hell

I should hide behind the hedges in front of my house and scare the shit out of our mailman. He's nothing like our previous mailman. This mailman rings the doorbell and leaves the mail laying on the porch that won't fit into the mailbox. He doesn't even wait to see if anybody is home. He just rings and runs. Sometimes he even tosses packages on the porch from the sidewalk. (So much for those packages marked "fragile".) We have a couple of little terra-cotta planters and they're broken at the bottom. I'm sure it was his handy work. This is why he doesn't get Christmas presents like our last mailman. Too bad he retired. I wouldn't be surprised if he is 1 of those "mailpeople" that hides mail or something. I know there have been a couple of days in the past when we didn't get mail. This of course is highly unusual because we always get mail. Always. I'm watching you Mr. Mailman. I've got you pegged.

I'm out of school and I saw a movie today. Why are there so many people walking around downtown? What's their excuse? Ah ha. That's what I thought.

And. . .

Why do these stores open at 10:00am? Is that some type of "special" downtown time? I had to sit somewhere almost an hour because of this. They have no idea how many people would appreciate a store that opens much earlier. It would mean less crowds for early shoppers. Hello?!?! Sheesh.

Hmm. Do you feel sorry for people that don't know any better OR do you laugh your ass off and try not to help because it's your enjoyment?

I choose the latter.

Here are a few things to make matters worse for them:

Sit back and watch them screw up even more.

Clearly notice that whatever they're doing, is wrong, but don't say anything.

Sabotage something.

Call others around to participate in the show.

No, no. Not family reunions.

Who has an end of the semester show and the only beverages available are beer and wine? Do people not drink pop/soda or water too? I believe some of the people dabbed a few drops of those spirits behind their ear because they sure smelled like somebody's liquor cabinet.

Talk about lack of self control. Beasts.

School is funny. You only want certain parts of it to end and other parts to continue until the next semester or beyond. I have this feeling all of the time, for some reason or another.

Maybe that's just me though.

Technology sure has tested my patience this semester too. I guess I have more patience than I thought or maybe it's just because a sledge hammer wasn't in the vicinity.
